The SSC CGL 2024 recruitment process is reaching its final stages. Candidates who have successfully cleared Tier-II must now submit their preferences for the available posts and departments. Failure to submit the Option-cum-Preference Form will result in exclusion from the final merit list.

This form allows candidates to choose their desired posts and departments based on their eligibility, interest, and rank. The SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in) has activated the preference submission link under the My Application Tab.

Only candidates who have appeared in the SSC CGL 2024 Tier-II Exam are eligible to submit their post and department preferences. If you do not fill this form within the given timeframe, you will not be considered for final selection.

The SSC CGL 2024 recruitment offers a total of 17,727 vacancies across various government departments. Here’s a brief look at the eligibility criteria:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27-32 Years (Varies by Post)
• Age Relaxation: As per SSC CGL Recruitment Rules

• Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s Degree with 60% marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level OR Statistics as a subject in graduation.
• Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as a subject.
• Research Assistant (NHRC): Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
• All Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

The selection process for SSC CGL 2024 consists of multiple stages:

1. Tier-I (CBT): Objective-type exam with questions on General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and General Awareness.
2. Tier-II (CBT): Consists of multiple papers, including Paper-I (Compulsory for all), Paper-II (JSO), and Paper-III (Statistical Investigator & Assistant Audit Officer).
3. Document Verification & Preference Selection: Candidates must submit their post and department preferences.
4. Final Merit List: Based on performance in Tier-I & Tier-II.

The Option-cum-Preference Form determines which post and department you will be considered for. The SSC will allocate jobs based on:
