The exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English Language section.

2. Test of Local Language

Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for. Those who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempt from this test.

Stipend and Benefits

• Monthly Stipend: Rs. 12,000 (including Rs. 4,500 as government subsidy)
• Engagement Period: 1 year

• Certificate: Successful apprentices will receive a proficiency certificate from the Board of Apprentice Training (BOAT).
