The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CMAT 2026 Admit Card on 21 January 2026. Candidates who have registered for the Common Management Admission Test can now access their hall tickets through the official portal at cmat.nta.nic.in. The CMAT 2025 Examination is scheduled to be conducted on 25 January 2026 in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format across various centers in India. Earlier, on 15 January, the NTA released the exam city intimation slip to help students plan their travel. This exam is a gateway for admission to MBA and PGDM programs in over 1,000 AICTE-approved management institutes. Aspirants are advised to download their admit cards immediately and verify all personal details, exam center address, and reporting timings to avoid any last-minute hurdles.

Eligibility and Exam Highlights (Green Box)

Admission Year: 2025-2026

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates in the final year of their graduation whose results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2025-26 can also apply.
• Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in the CMAT 2026 exam. This allows working professionals and freshers alike to compete for top MBA seats.
• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Exam Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT) only. No offline or pen-paper mode is available.

Course Coverage: CMAT scores are accepted for MBA, PGDM, Executive MBA, and PGCM programs across top institutes like JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, and PUMBA.

CMAT Marking Scheme (Amber Box)

• Correct Answer: Candidates will be awarded +4 marks for every correct response.
• Incorrect Answer: There is a penalty of -1 mark for every wrong answer. It is advisable to skip questions if you are unsure.
• Unanswered Questions: No marks will be deducted for questions left blank.
• Duration: Total time allowed is 180 minutes (3 hours). There is no sectional time limit in CMAT.

Important Exam Day Checklist (Red Box)

Candidates must bring the following items to the exam center: A printed copy of the CMAT Admit Card (preferable color), one passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the form), and a valid Original Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport). Please note that digital copies of IDs on mobile phones will not be accepted. Ensure you reach the center at the ‘Reporting Time’ mentioned on your hall ticket.
